Shea Moisture Organic African Black Soap |
Well recently I found myself going through one of those "periods" again and I decided to try Shea Moisture Organic African Black Soap. This soap was recommended to me by a few friends and I'm already a fan of Shea Moisture hair products so it wasn't hard to convince me. It's not only supposed to be good for acne but good for psoriasis and eczema and keeping your skin tone even as well. I know we're all guilty of popping pimples, I sure am and almost immediately after I regret it because it leaves that nasty scar!
So I've been using Shea Moisture Organic African Black Soap for about two weeks now, I only use it on my face not my body because I don't have body acne. Looks strange because black soap isn't the "norm" but it smells great it cost me $4.97 at Walmart (basically five dollars LOL) sounds like a lot for bar soap but that's the typical price of face wash. My skin does feel smoother, I don't think that I've used it long enough to see if it had an affect on acne scarring but I will keep you updated. I use it in combination with Queen Helene Cocoa Butter Face & Body Creme because it's just a habit, my face often feels dry after washing it. I was told to use Witch Hazel as well as other products for the best results but I haven't tried that as yet.
However, as we all know, nothing beats water! The more you drink the better! Something else I'm working on improving.. :)
